WSU Fan for UT

I'm from Washington State. Home of the WSU Cougars and the UW Huskies. I'm ordering a UT shirt and will wear it proudly in the Pacific Northwest.
Good Job UT for turning a real crummy day for a young man into a wonderful story!!!

Fabulous

Compliments to you Kiko. In addition to being a new UT fan, my 2nd newest favorite team is USC. I have a son and hate to see the effects of bullies. Very impressed with this young boy, his spirit, creativity etc. Also way to show some leadership UT. Next move for me is to order my new UT shirt. GO VOLS!

Vol Fan in Washington State

Great story! I understand. When I moved with my parents to Washington State in 1973 I didn't get a chance to listen to John Ward or watch Tennessee football very much. We would call my Grandmother just to Listen to John Ward and Bill Anderson just a little bit to brighten my spirit. In 1974 when Tennessee played U.C.L.A. to a 17 to 17 tie I asked my dad if we could take the TV to the Company picnic and plug the extension cord into the men's restroom so I could sit at a picnic table and enjoy the game. He did😁 I was teased so bad by the other children and parents but it was the best time of my life watching Condridge Hollaway come back into the game. I was only 5 ft tall and weighed 100 lbs in High School as a freshman. I struggled all through High School when I told kids I wanted to be a Firefighter some day. Watching Hollaway come back onto the field kept my spirits high. It took 15 years later but I became a Professional Firefighter/EMT/Hazmat Tech/ Technical Rescuer. After 20 years I'am now a Bus Driver Trainer for our Local School District. So showing support to this young man is an honor in ordering this shirt. I hope he goes far!!! Go Vols!!!
